Brian has over 40 years' experience in real estate and construction, and has significant interests in retail and residential land through a number of individual or joint ventures. He has backed the VTP management team from inception and has contributed significant funding (US$15m) in R&D and brand development. Brian will continue to steer and advise the Directors through this exciting growth phase and rollout of the VTP. The Pettifer family own the controlling stake (90%) in VTP Global.
Charles comes from a real estate background with over 15 years' experience in major projects. Previously he worked for Chelsfield plc and was key to the development of a number of significant projects including Paddington Basin, London. Prior to Chelsfield he worked for GVA advising major corporations on commercial investment and occupational strategies. Charles has taken executive responsibility for the VTP project and management team since his family's acquisition of the concept rights in 2007.
Richard is recognised as being one of the world's leading authorities on ride operations and safety. Previously Operations Director for Drayton Manor Theme Park in the UK he has held prominent positions including Chairman of BALPPA (British Association of Leisure Parks Piers and Attractions), founder member of ADIPS (Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme) and has represented IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks) throughout Europe. Richard has been responsible for a number of innovations in amusement rides (e.g. first stand up freefall tower in the world) and will oversee the management of the VTP operating and safety teams.
Chris has over 25 years' experience in real estate having previously worked for Chartwell Land - one of the leading retail and leisure developers in the UK - together with senior positions at Drivers Jonas and McDonalds. He has developed over 1 million sq ft of retail and leisure projects overseeing the planning, design and marketing teams. Chris is in charge of all property, lettings and marketing initiatives for the VTP including the key interface with the operations and consultancy team.
